Here at ACI Entertainment, we are proud of the work we do, and so pleased to receive the compliments of our many clients. We hope you will take a tour of some of our recent projects, which provide you with an idea of our varied production repertoire, and which are evidence of our talent and versatility.

It was to be put into use for the first time ever and the children geared up for it. What is now known as the Green Park, located right opposite the Governor’s Lodge in Akure, Ondo State, used to be a thick forest, until the governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Rahman Mimiko, thought it wise to put it into good use for the public. And the Green Park was born.

Commissioning took place a day to the Christmas party which held on December 24, 2011.

Our client, the wife of the governor and First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Olukemi Mimiko, was concerned about the children having fun in a safe environment, therefore, consideration was made for the height of the stage, the setup of the speakers, the positioning of the light and cameras. “Something not too high,” Aunty Kemi, as she is fondly called, said concerning the stage at the brief briefing session. “But excellent sound. Like a concert. I want the kids to have fun this Christmas, but I also want the place to be safe. I don’t want any kid being hurt by any of the equipment. To work we went. Our 40x24ft stage was set at 3ft for the first layer, and 3.5 ft for the second. Our PAS system (DAS configuration) was staked. Then we also set up the light for the night gig.

It was no easy feat. The park comes with a slope and a set of rules. ‘No plant must be harmed’ meant that we could not drive our trucks in. Well, we knew this was the default rule and without being told, you don’t want to disturb the beauty and life in the park but for once, you would wish there was a fairytale godmother to help with set-up. None came. Well, good thing, set-up schedule was two days to the event.

Was it exhausting? Ask the crew just back from Mare 2011. Okay, we did not climb the hills but we rocked the show. So, to come from Idanre hills, then to the slope of the Green Park was probably nature’s way of telling us there was no dodging the mountain-climbing experience. Panel after panel, the interlocking stage was brought it. Then the speakers… To say they were heavy does no justice to the stress in getting them into the park. Christmas party in Akure was one challenging project but we also had fun! How was that possible? The charm of the kids, and the joy of the client was all we sought. And when the governor arrived, he said, “I want to congratulate my wife for this beautiful outing. You have done well. Excellently well. And to you the kids, you have adorned this park with your natural beauty and for that, may you all be blessings to your generation. Have a ‘Christ-ful’ Christmas and a prosperous new year.”
